Rob’s professional investing career began just prior to the onset of the 2007-2008 Financial Crisis that saw the equity markets and economy get decimated. Helping to guide clients through this difficult time and experiencing the impact on clients firsthand left a permanent imprint on his philosophy around risk and portfolio management. Born from this experience was the realization that a client’s investment portfolio needs to be integrated into the context of their overall financial plan and can not be viewed without a deeper understanding of a client’s goals, objectives, and values.

From that point, Rob dedicated his practice to incorporate the best ideas around portfolio management and comprehensive planning into the client experience. He obtained his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification and took a leadership role in the firm as the Director of Financial Planning where he supports clients in building and managing their investment portfolios as well as coordinating their investments with the architecture of their financial plan.

Rob and his wife Liz live in Northport, NY, with their three kids. On any given weekend you may find him on the sidelines at one of his kid’s soccer games or riding his mountain bike around one of the many trails on Long Island. Rob graduated from the University of Delaware with a degree in Economics.
